What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored or read by a browser. Similar technologies can remember choices, keep services secure, measure use or support advertising.
Current site use
The site includes Google's AdSense script for account verification and possible advertising. Google consent signals for advertising storage, analytics storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are denied by default before that script loads. Essential hosting and security technology may still be used where necessary to deliver and protect the website.
When you choose English or Dutch, OnlyCuraçao remembers your language choice in your browser's local storage. This functional preference is not used for advertising or tracking, and you can remove it by clearing your browser data.
Photographs hosted by Pexels and Wikimedia Commons, and links to external services, can connect your browser to third-party providers. Those services control their own technology and privacy policies.
Advertising, analytics and consent
Where consent is required, OnlyCuraçao will use an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform to present advertising choices. Advertising consent can be refused without losing access to the public travel guides.
A choice interface may update optional consent signals after a visitor makes a selection. If that interface is unavailable, optional advertising and analytics storage remains denied. This policy will be updated if the providers, purposes or controls materially change.
Browser controls
Browsers allow you to delete or block cookies. Blocking essential technology can affect how some websites work. Third-party websites reached from OnlyCuraçao must be managed through their own controls.
